The Indian Air Force is a passion more than profession for young aspiring students. Each year a large crowd of students appear in Air Force entrance examination to make their way in this prestigious profession. It is not the most fortunate group that cracks Air Force examination, it is the hardest working group that excel. Be reminded folks, there is not shortcut to success, especially when you are opting for a career in Air Force or Defence.
Here is what you require for qualifying the eligibility criteria to sit in Air Force exam(s):
Group X
You should have passed Class XIIth from a reputed Board having scored at least 50% in Physics, Mathematics and English OR a three years diploma in Engineering (any stream) with an average score of 50% marks from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Group Y
You should have passed Class XIIth or an equivalent examination from a recognized institute or board listed in Council of Boards for School Education. You should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English as a compulsory subject.
*Candidates between age group 17 to 21 may appear for Group ‘X’ and ‘Y’ examinations.
